.WHAT HAS CHANGED...

east Sunday night. Made changes to pops with Monday system, QPF for
Tuesday, and several aspects of the Friday system.
&&
.KEY MESSAGES...
1) Frigid temperatures will continue through this weekend and below
normal temperatures expected all week.
2) Several systems through the week will bring snow chances to the
region.

.DISCUSSION...
1) Frigid temperatures will continue through this weekend and below
normal temperatures expected all week.
Continued the cold weather advisory for the overnight hours and
through the morning daytime hours on Sunday. Expect clouds to start
to dissipate late in the overnight hours especially across western
portions of the region. This will allow for temperatures to drop
overnight. Cannot rule out some freezing fog development as well.
Lowered low temperatures across eastern portions of the region Sunday
night as it will take some time for clouds to move into those
locations in advance of the next system. Cannot rule out the need for
another cold weather advisory Sunday night across central Ohio,
however after collaboration held off on issuing any additional
headlines until details resolve. While temperatures during the week
will be a little warmer than the area has seen, below normal
temperatures are expected through the week.
2) Several systems through the week will bring snow chances to the
region.
Snow flurries or light snow showers will continue at times overnight,
before starting to dissipate. A weak system will bring some
additional light snow chances to the region on Monday. The better
chance for this occurring is near and north of Interstate 70. On
Tuesday a system is expected to bring primarily snow to the region
with a focus south of Interstate 70. Models have come into better
agreement on location and timing of this system. Up to 2 inches of
snow will be possible around the Ohio River with lower amounts north
and south of there. A clipper system will work into the
region Thursday night through Friday night. This system will not only
bring additional snow to the region, but a reinforcing shot of cold
air as well bringing single digit low temperatures back into the
picture. Gusty winds will also accompany this system. These types of
systems often are over performers with snow amounts. Current
forecast has less than an inch across southwestern portions of the
region and then around 3 to 4 inches in central Ohio. Will have to
watch as snowfall values may have to be increased with time across
southwestern portions of the area depending on exact track of the
system.

.AVIATION /06Z SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY/...
A mix of MVFR and VFR conditions will be present overnight with
isolated IFR conditions possible. A return to VFR conditions is
expected as the day progresses on Sunday. Additional MVFR conditions
will be possible towards the end of the TAF period.
Snow flurries or light snow showers will continue at times overnight.
KCMH and KLCK will hold onto the light snow the longest and it may
linger into the daytime morning hours on Sunday. Cigs are both MVFR
and VFR and will continue to be so during this time. Vsbys may be
reduced at times.
As clouds start to decrease later overnight cannot rule out some fog
development. At this time limited mention to MVFR vsbys with fog to
KDAY. VFR conditions will return during the day on Sunday, however
Sunday night additional MVFR conditions will be possible.
OUTLOOK...MVFR CIGs are likely, with MVFR VSBYs and IFR CIGs
possible Monday. MVFR to IFR CIGs/VSBYs are possible again Tuesday
into Tuesday night.
